Information we collect
MindShelf may collect account email, authentication metadata, report prompts, public source URLs, generated outputs, saved notes, and basic usage or billing events needed to operate the product.
This page describes the privacy baseline MindShelf should meet before public launch. It is written for an early product and should be reviewed before production release.
MindShelf may collect account email, authentication metadata, report prompts, public source URLs, generated outputs, saved notes, and basic usage or billing events needed to operate the product.
We use this information to run Quick Scans, generate source-grounded research reports, save your private library, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, and improve product reliability.
Reports should be grounded in public materials or materials you provide. Do not upload confidential, private, or sensitive third-party information unless you have the right to use it.
Subscription and payment details are expected to be handled by third-party payment providers. MindShelf should not store full card or PayPal credentials in the application database.
Saved reports and insights are retained so your library works across sessions. Before launch, MindShelf should provide a clear account deletion and data export path.
The product should not sell personal data. Any analytics or reliability tooling should be limited to operating and improving the service.
